During the magical winter holidays, let State Farm bring you the present of knowing you are protected with reliable insurance, so you can enjoy all the joys of the season without any worries.

I have been with the company going on 10 years now, and I’m proud to serve the residents of Muskegon County and the surrounding area, including Oceana, Mason, Lake, Newaygo, Kent, and Ottawa County and to all Michiganders. My agency opened its doors on November of 2021 and can handle anything from homeowners and renters insurance, to auto insurance, life insurance, health insurance, business insurance and more. We also have great policies to cover all your toys!

I was born and raised in Ontario, Canada, and I am one of 11 children. I was raised to “love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind” and “Lean on the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.” I enjoyed working hard, from cutting grass, to bailing hay, or stocking shelves at my local grocery store. Being from Canada, I had a passion for playing hockey, and I still try to play when I can. I know this may be an unpopular position, but I am a big Penguins fan as well! I came to the United States in the summer of 2012 and became a United State Citizen on March 25th, 2021. Becoming a Citizen was a very proud accomplishment for my family and myself.

I am a graduate of Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, and also a graduate of Word of Life Bible Institute in Owen Sound, Ontario and Schroon Lake, New York. Word of Life is where I met my wife, Nicole, who I married between my sophomore and junior year of college. Nicole is from the Grand Haven area and we have three children, Corban, Millie, and Evie. We moved up to the Whitehall area from West Olive after buying our first home in November of 2020. We have a cat named Snuggles and a desire to have our own food sources, so cows, chickens, and pigs in our future!

At one of the most difficult points in my life, I walked into a State Farm office just after being laid off, and also had just graduated with a degree that I was not going to use. I had a pregnant wife, and a 1 year old, and needed to go over my insurance to see if I could save money. The agent there was able to show me my needs and that it wasn’t about saving money, but protecting my future and my family’s future. That meeting immediately started a desire that grew into a passion to want help identify and protect other people’s needs as well! Within 4 weeks of that meeting I was able to start doing that exact thing! Becoming an agent is my commitment to a passion of wanting to help protect others future.

I love meeting people, and I have a passion for learning their needs and finding the right coverage for their situation. I take great pride in helping customers manage everyday risks, plan for the future, and protect the things that matter most. Personally and professionally, I have a great group of people to gain wisdom and guidance from. My team members are very important to me as I look to train and develop them for your specific needs. So you know you’re going to have their full attention and effort, every single time! I’ve surrounded myself with talented team members and each one of them has your interests at heart.

My passion and desire is that we will be able to be a rock in our local community, and be able to serve well the people of our community. We also want to partner with other business to see Whitehall Montague flourish! We want to help in any way we can by protecting what is most important to you.
